This revelation came during a Famitsu interview, as reported by Eurogamer. Ishizaki teased that iconic foes from Dark Souls will appear in Nightreign. Fans were already buzzing after spotting what seemed to be The Nameless King from Dark Souls 3 in the debut trailer at The Game Awards. I mean, can you imagine facing off against such legends in a whole new world? Goosebumps.
But here’s a plot twist: Nightreign won’t be a live-service game, even with its multiplayer survival features. Bandai Namco has clarified that the pricing will be in the ballpark of Shadow of the Erdtree—around $40. That’s fair for what looks to be an epic experience, right?
What About Multiplayer?
Elden Ring: Nightreign will have cross-generation play (think PS4 players teaming up with PS5 users), but it won’t support full cross-platform play.
