Step 1: Procure the Hacking Device

• Objective: Obtain a Hacking Device from a roof in downtown Los Santos.

  • Take out red cameras to avoid police attention.
  • Climb the ladder and plant the Hacking Device on an electrical box.
  • After planting the device, parachute or climb down and return to the Garment Factory.

Step 2: Steal the Tula

• Objective: Steal the weaponized Tula helicopter from a Merryweather barge.
• Details: Go to the waypoint and use a boat or jetski to reach the barge. There are enemies and two machine gun boats protecting the Tula.
  • Eliminate all enemies and hop into the Tula.
  • Destroy six Merryweather helicopters in the air to clear the area.
  • Land the Tula at LSIA at the marked location.

Step 3: Secure Sonar Equipment

• Objective: Steal sonar equipment to locate the black box after the plane crashes.
• Details: Go to a tugboat near Los Santos docks. Eliminate enemies and retrieve the sonar equipment from a storage box at the front of the boat.
  • Once you’ve secured the equipment, return to the Garment Factory and start the next mission.

Step 4: Hack Air Traffic Control and Find the Plane

• Objective: Hack into air traffic control and locate the IAA plane.
• Details: Head back to LSIA and hack into the control tower’s air traffic system.
  • Go to the Tula and fly to intercept the IAA plane. This may take time as the plane is already far away.
  • Use the SecuroServ app on your phone to track the plane and begin hacking when close enough. Keep the percentage rising to successfully hack the plane.

Step 5: Hack the Plane and Search for the Black Box

• Objective: Hack the plane and shoot down one of its engines to make it crash.
• Details: Once the hack is complete, blow up one of the four engines to bring the plane down.
  • After the plane crashes into a lake, descend with the Tula and exit near the crash site.
  • Submerge underwater, use the sonar equipment to locate the black box in the front section of the plane (cockpit area).
  • Blow open the cockpit doors using a sticky bomb to retrieve the black box.

Step 6: Escape the Cops and Deliver the Black Box

• Objective: Escape with the black box and deliver it to the buyer.
• Details: Use the dinghy and its machine gun turret to escape the cops. Kill any enemies and cops in your way.
  • If you die during the escape, you’ll respawn on a jetski and need to retrieve the black box and proceed to the buyer.
  • Once you reach the buyer, deliver the black box and complete the mission for a $185k reward.
  • Bonus rewards can be earned for:
    • Destroying all four plane engines.
    • Recovering all plane contents underwater.
    • Killing five enemies during the escape.
