The Wait For GTA 6’s Second Trailer Just Broke A Sad Record

Torrentgame – The wait for the second trailer of Grand Theft Auto VI (GTA 6) has broken a sad record, surpassing the time gaps between the first and second trailers for both Grand Theft Auto V and Red Dead Redemption II.

As of December 20, 2024, it’s been 381 days since the release of GTA 6’s first trailer, marking the longest gap between trailers for any major Rockstar Games release in over a decade. By comparison, GTA V had a gap of 378 days between its first trailer (released on November 2, 2011) and second trailer (released on November 14, 2012). Red Dead Redemption II had a slightly shorter wait of 343 days, with its first trailer launching on October 20, 2016, and its second arriving on September 28, 2017.

Despite the frustration among fans, Rockstar Games, through Take-Two’s Strauss Zelnick, has made it clear that the second trailer will only arrive when it’s ready. This has added to the growing anticipation for the game, which is now confirmed for release in Fall 2025.

In the meantime, GTA fans are eagerly searching for any hint that might reveal when the second trailer will drop, but nothing substantial has been confirmed yet. Rockstar Games does have a history of releasing assets during the holiday season, such as new GTA V screens released on Christmas Eve back in 2012, but no such materials have been released for GTA VI yet.

Set in a modern-day Vice City, GTA VI is expected to feature a Bonnie and Clyde-style story centered around two main characters. Fans are eagerly awaiting further updates to satisfy their growing curiosity.
